All our rooms are perfect for hosting everyone – individual travellers, couples or larger family groups. Additional requirements are met where possible, such as extra beds for a child/adult or baby cot. (We do not host hen or stag parties as we like to offer a peaceful setting to all our guests.)
Cyclists are very welcome. We accommodate bicycles securely overnight and provide a cleaning area for washing down bikes. Evening meals can be offered if pre-booked to cyclists.
There are 4 good sized ensuite Chambre d’hôte rooms, all individual, offering super king to single sized beds with varied room layout. All rooms have ample space, relaxed seating and large bathrooms with double showers. There are tea and coffee facilities in each room and fresh milk can be provided free of charge. Plus Wifi, DVD, French & English TV and a hair dryer can be found in your room. Each room is described for easy selection below.
A freshly prepared continental breakfast is offered within your room rate. There is a selection of home made yoghurt, jams, cheeses, charcuterie. Fruit juice, fresh coffee, English breakfast tea, a range of herbal and fruit teas are served along with warm baguette, croissant and pain au chocolate.
There is a comfortable guest lounge with a wood burning fire in winter for you to relax and enjoy with various snacks and a small selection of beverages are on offer. A guest fridge freezer is also available for use in the lounge.
Accessibility: As an old converted farmhouse and grand Maison we do not have an elevator. The Sapphire and Emerald rooms are on the first floor, up 16 steps from the front door and the Amber and Ruby rooms are on the second floor, a further 16 steps; all rooms offer great views across the countryside. The Maison is non-smoking throughout. However, you are free to smoke in the gardens.
Games – Chess, dominoes and card games available.
Room decor & facilities
Each room has a white backdrop with a splash of colour for a clean and inviting feel, with soft furnishing for added comfort. There is ample storage with bed side tables, a wardrobe and chest of drawers in every room, as a minimum and plenty of sockets to recharge the electrical gadgets. Plus free Wifi.
- Superior Emerald Suite – A nicely appointed large suite with added extras. In addition to a king sized bed there is a 6ft long comfy couch / sofa bed making it also suitable for a family of 3. This room has an extra large bathroom as it has a bath and a double shower. Plus a large towel radiator and vanity unit with basin and a separate en-suite toilet room. Additional extras – this room is finished to a higher standard, plus a wider range of toiletries. This room also has a capsule coffee machine for espressos and long/tall coffees with biscuits. Green and white decor with quality soft furnishings.
- Sapphire Suite – A large bedroom with a king sized pine bed, 2 easy chairs and side tables. An extra large en-suite bathroom with double shower, bidet, towel radiator and vanity unit with basin, plus a separate en-suite toilet room. A nicely finished room with blue and white decor and soft furnishings.
- Ruby Room – A nice sized room with two single beds. Great for sharing with a friend or for the single traveller. Plenty of space and fantastic views over the gardens. En-suite bathroom with double walk in shower, vanity unit with basin, towel radiator and toilet, all finished in a red and white decor.
- Amber Room – An extra large room with fantastic views of the garden. A double bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space. A spacious /couch seating area which turns into another double bed, if required. En-suite bathroom with double sized walk in shower, vanity unit with basin, towel radiator and toilet. Finished in yellow gold and white decor.
Every room has beautiful views over the Loudeac forest, rolling countryside and landscaped gardens.
